Today, the official PlayStation account on Twitter released a promotional video for an upcoming puzzle game called “Humanity” that made reference to Shiba Inu. If this renowned video game company is indeed alluding to the SHIB token, it would be an enormous development for SHIB supporters.
Upon further examination, however, the situation appears to be different. Despite the PlayStation Twitter account announcing that people could play as Shiba Inu, there is no connection to SHIB.
“Play as a Shiba Inu. Guide crowds through trials. Unlock new powers. Take on massive battles. Build custom stages. PS VR2 support. Upcoming puzzler Humanity just got even more intriguing.”

Shiba Inu (SHIB) is unlikely to be involved
An examination of the game’s trailer suggests that “Shiba Inu” is likely referring only to the specific dog breed that will be featured in the new video game. Additionally, the game’s website offers some insight into this, as well.
The trailer begins with a Shiba Inu(SHIB) walking through a throng of people wearing vivid outfits, which suggests that although the breed of dog is playing a major role in the game, it is highly unlikely that Sony intends to launch an installment based around the SHIB acronym.
Incredibly, the reference to Shiba Inu(SHIB) made by PlayStation has generated great enthusiasm amongst members of the SHIB army. Numerous SHIB supporters have tagged the official Twitter account and primary programmer Shytoshi Kusama.
The SHIB community has not taken the rumor too seriously, which is evident in the slight change of its price. Over the last day, SHIB has only gone down by 1.7%, and in the hour before this article was written it only grew by 0.1%.
Despite this, Ethereum whales are exhibiting a notable level of interest in SHIB. According to WhaleStats, which tracks crypto assets, SHIB remains the most popular altcoin among Ethereum whales.
Out of the 5,000 wealthiest ETH whales, SHIB is the greatest stockpile after USDC and USDT, which are stablecoins. When all the whales’ assets are combined, USDC sums up to 18%, USDT 13%, and SHIB 12%. This is trailed by MATIC at only 4% and other altcoins like BIT, LINK and Best with 3%.
