Welly, a burger eatery themed around Shiba Inu, is aiming to further the SHIB adoption cause by expanding its operations. On October 17th, the eatery released a preview of an image from Masquespacio Design, an acclaimed creative firm that was hired for the project.
The document also declares that the NFT owners will have the ability to pick certain specifics for its shops via its inaugural DAO suggestion.
In a recent survey, Welly asked the public where they thought the store architecturally designed by them should be located. The four regions they proposed were America, Europe, South America and Asia. The US received the most votes with 46.9%, while Europe came in second place with 25.2%.
Welly’s business model allows SHIB members to influence the opening of new stores through the Doggy Dao. Currently, there is only one store in Naples, though the team hopes to expand to a worldwide presence. As per their tweet, Shiba Inu has already been welcomed at their first store and will likely be featured at upcoming locations as well.
In February, a collaboration was established between the Shiba Inu meme coin and the Italian fast food restaurant Welly. As a result of this partnership, Welly underwent a complete image makeover with the Shiba Inu becoming its new mascot and changing its slogan to one that pays tribute to Ryoshi, the anonymous creator of the meme coin. Alongside this, an update in menu items as well as marketing approaches was also implemented.
Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, noted in a blog post that the Welly’s team will carry on refining their initial offering of SHIB integration and tactics while identifying ways to expand (site, cost, selection). Additionally, Welly announced their involvement in burning SHIB tokens ‘in various forms.’
