Shytoshi Kusama, the lead programmer of Shiba Inu, has designated all members of the community as part of the “Shiba Inu Defense Breed” in light of increased Fear Uncertainty and Doubt (FUD) that is being spread against the project. This label emphasizes that each member must participate in protecting Shiba Inu from malicious propaganda.
Rumors that the Shibarium programming was a duplicate of the Rinia blockchain’s present code caused an orchestrated fear, uncertainty, and doubt effort to surface in the Shiba Inu circle as events unfolded. During this propaganda, Kusama has been asking for solidarity among members of the community, stressing the essential part of collective backing for the venture.
Kusama has been able to transmit his message to the public by altering his Twitter profile, which he updates often in order to emphasize important points.
Kusama highlighted the necessity of dedication to the mission of the venture, noting that “if you fly the shib flag, it shouldn’t be reversible”. This implies that members of this community ought to remain steadfast in their backing of the project’s objectives.
Requiring Assistance from the Community
Kusama later revealed that he viewed the whole Shiba Inu group as part of the Shiba Inu Defense Breed, thus burdening the entire community with duties that were originally designated to just the original Defense Breed.

The Defense Breed, originally consisting of twelve members from the Shiba Inu community, was given the role of ensuring the success of the SHIB ecosystem by examining SHIB-related projects, refuting false claims, and distributing accurate and important news to members in the group as well as to outsiders, plus other duties.
Kusama praised the Defense Breed in his second Shibarium blog post, highlighting their achievements in forging several strategic partnerships for the Shiba Inu project. He noted that their success had been so impressive that they were no longer limited to being a “defense” team and thus disbanded.
The Shibarium team has responded to allegations that they plagiarized the Rinia code by confirming that they only took advantage of the same ChainID, but did not copy any of Rinia’s code.
Kusama’s recent characterization of all community members as Defense Breed highlights the importance for everyone to carefully examine any future claims and actively work to debunk false gossip about the project. This collective action is necessary in order to preserve the reliability of the community’s efforts and guarantee its continued success.
