Many have speculated on when the SEC vs. Ripple case will be concluded, with some legal analysts giving prognostications of possible dates. Most legal specialists apprised of the suit think Judge Analisa Torres will issue a verdict before or on March 31st, 2023.
James K. Filan, who used to be a prosecutor in the United States, is one of the legal professionals that has the same opinion. As per Filan’s estimation, Judge Torres will settle both summary judgment and expert motions at once before April 2021.
“I am sticking to my prediction that District Judge Torres will decide both the Expert Motions and the Summary Judgment motions at the same time – on or before March 31, 2023.”
– Filan
Yesterday, Filan announced the revised timeline for the Ripple vs. SEC summary judgment hearing after he shared it.
Filan’s prediction has been steadfast, leading the XRP community to anticipate a favorable ruling from Judge Torres. However, attorney Jeremy Hogan of Hogan & Hogan law firm believes the lawsuit between Ripple and the SEC is more intricate than a mere victory or defeat. He stated that any portion of the suit could be decided upon at any period. Additionally, attorney Hogan speculated that Judge Torres may give a ruling that would take time for people to decipher if it is advantageous for Ripple.
