Registration is now available for the initial stage of the Non-Fungible Token (NFT) Game! This is the 4th Public Incentivized Testnet event held for the Cosmos Hub.
Validator and developer groups will be evaluating Interchain NFTs on various blockchains — IRISnet, Stargaze, Juno, OmniFlix and Uptick!
Introducing the Game of NFTs
The two-stage Interchain NFTs (ICS-721) event, known as the Game of NFTs, aims to thoroughly evaluate the technology through incentivized testnets (phase 1) and develop advanced applications via a hackathon (phase 2).
This initiative, spearheaded by Bianjie, is a collaborative effort between the Interchain Foundation, Cosmos Hub, IRISnet, Stargaze, Juno, OmniFlix and Uptick as well as numerous interchain developer groups.
We are delighted and honored to launch Game of NFTs and invite everyone to register for Phase 1!
What are Interchain NFTs?
Interchain NFTs are being brought to life through the ICS-721 specification, initiated by Bianjie, a dedicated technical contributor to the Cosmos network and IRISnet. The Interchain NFT module for IBC will enable NFTs to experience the same connectivity and interoperability that fungible tokens already benefit from, providing developers and artists with an unprecedented range of opportunities for creativity.
We have already seen implementations of Cosmos SDK and CosmWasm, and we anticipate that the Game of NFTs will excite members of the interchain community to build around this technology. For phase one of the Game of NFTs, we will assess Interchain NFT’s capabilities before its large-scale implementation on mainnets.
Explore a NFT marketplace that operates across multiple chains, or digital items that use inter-chain information. Participants have the opportunity to experiment with ICS-721 SDK and Wasmchains and build familiarity with the protocol.
20,000 ATOM Rewards for Phase 1 Winners
Phase 1 of Game of NFTs is a testnet with incentives where participants will evaluate the Interchain NFTs features and compete for rewards that were granted by the Cosmos Hub community pool via Prop#94.
Prizes will be distributed according to points earned by those who have completed tasks and submitted entries for specific awards. There will be multiple tests as well as special honors shown on the GitHub page.
Please take note that personnel from Organizer Teams (IRISnet, Stargaze, Juno, Uptick, OmniFlix) can join in but are not qualified for awards. (More organizer teams may participate in Phase 1 in future.) This same rule would also be applicable to their employees.
How to join?
If you are interested in joining Phase 1, the first step is to sign up and submit your team information in the Registration Form.

Next, you will be added to the Cosmos Network discord channel based on the information you provided, in order to start coordinating your participation in the Game of NFTs. Please make sure you are in the Cosmos Network Discord.
The incentivized testnet is scheduled to kick off on March 1st, 2023, competing in about 3–4 weeks!
Get Prepared for Phase 2: The Interchain Hackathon!
Organizations such as Ark Protocol and Design DAO have significantly aided the Game of NFTs event, helping to improve its work. As planned, a hackathon will be held after Phase 1 is finished.
This hackathon aims to bring in more interchain developer teams and institutions like Amazon Web Services (AWS), HashKey Capital, and IDG Capital. It seeks to create dApps that incorporate user-friendly features for the community related to Interchain NFTs.
