Conflux declared a union with bloXroute Labs, the pioneer of Layer 0 blockchain scalability solutions, today. To meet Conflux’s aim of extending their decentralized network sustainably, Conflux and bloXroute will work together to perfect Conflux’s network layer. A tailored connection between Conflux’s consensus layer and bloXroute’s Blockchain Distribution Network (BDN) – a reliable network structure that accelerates block dissemination and blockchain node synchronization – will be established.
Dr. Wu Ming, the Co-Founder and CTO of Conflux, holds a positive view of bloXroute as a blockchain initiative. He stated: “We have had very productive exchanges with the bloXroute team. Their solution could bolster communication between blockchain nodes and address the bottleneck that happens when propagating through networks on-chain. Our collaboration is expected to help both Conflux and bloXroute realize their full potential, as well as promote blockchain technology usage globally.”
Aleksandar Kuzmanovic, Co-Founder and Chief Architect of bloXroute, expressed his admiration for Conflux’s creative design and skilled development team. He was pleased to discover that their Layer 0 scalability solution had already been integrated into the roadmap from the outset! Both parties anticipate a long-term collaboration and are delighted at the prospect of reinforcing an already excellent project.

bloXroute Labs, a venture-backed Chicago-based technology startup founded by crypto researchers and software veterans from Northwestern University, has developed the Blockchain Distribution Network (BDN). This BDN functions similarly to a “CDN or Akamai for blockchains”, speeding up block propagation and improving scalability. The BDN utilizes advanced networking strategies such as internal caching, encryption and cut-through routing. As a result of this network, blockchains can experience enhanced performance, lower operating costs and draw in more users without compromising decentralization or security through protocol changes or modifications to Layer 1 and Layer 2 solutions as well as PoS, PoW and hybrid frameworks at the lowest level of functioning – Layer 0.

Conflux is the top-notch public blockchain platform that can deliver high transaction processing speed without compromising decentralization or security. By blending its sophisticated algorithm with a new structure known as Tree Graph (TG), Conflux eliminates consensus as a hindrance to performance, thus solving various issues in the industrialization of public blockchains. At present, in its first phase, Conflux uses PoW (Proof of Work) mechanism as the foundation of its consensus protocol.
