We wanted to let everyone know what we have been up to in June 2019. It was a busy month and we are thrilled to report on some activities and accomplishments.
1. An office in New York Launched
We have established our official headquarters in NYC, which is our second growth beyond Cornell University and San Francisco, as well as our first significant relocation (scheduled to open on July 15th). This is a major accomplishment since it will speed up our expansion and alliances for the remainder of the year.
2. Join our team
We kept growing the team, and improved our search for qualified personnel. We are searching for skilled engineers, product managers, business development directors, sales representatives, UI/UX designers, and a lot of other roles. Openings in both New York and San Francisco!

3. Facebook announced “Libra”
Libra is a cryptocurrency based on the “Hotstuff” paper authored by AVA Labs Chief Protocol Architect — Maofan “Ted” Yin
The continuous attention from experts and technologists from various disciplines, which has been sparked by the Libra whitepaper released by Facebook, has been quite remarkable. As per the information on the Libra website, the underlying blockchain of Libra will employ a consensus algorithm called LibraBFT, which is actually an adaptation of HotStuff. Therefore, what exactly is this algorithm named HotStuff?
