AVA Labs, a proficient and modular decentralized services platform, has declared the procurement of Investery Inc., an exclusive capital markets platform that endows investors with the capability to control alternative investments. As part of this acquisition, Investery’s current alliances will be transferred over to AVA, and its CEO and Founder, John Wu, as well as VP of Business Development and Product, Lydia Chiu will become full-time members of AVA Labs.

Investery, established in 2019, provides a comprehensive range of services to aid investors in analyzing, managing and engaging in private market transactions. Through its online discovery marketplace, users can access different vertical marketplaces with ease and view both their deal inventory and portfolio holdings in one app. The company’s experience within the FinTech sector will be used to expand the Avalanche platform. By allowing access to private resource platforms as well as issuing private financial assets, this purchase will further develop AVA Labs’ monetary capabilities. In addition, Investery will broaden AVA Labs’ customer base while also creating valuable connections within the financial services industry.
Before setting up Investery, John Wu was the founder of Sureview Capital with a financial input from Blackstone. He had previously been a tech investor at Kingdon Capital and Tiger Management. His extensive experience in technology entrepreneurship included the position of CEO of SharesPost’s Digital Assets Group where he created and managed their digital assets division, which carried out the earliest full-custody trade of digital securities. Lydia Chiu also brings with her an abundance of knowledge on the financial sector from her former roles in traditional finance at Morgan Stanley and Credit Suisse. She used to be Director of Digital Assets at SharesPost, Senior Analyst at Sureview Capital, and recently was VP for Business Development and Product at Investery.
John is to be the President of AVA Labs, with Lydia in charge of Business Development as Vice President.
